Hi, I’m Poe.

I’m a recent SCAD graduate with a major in Writing.

I am a creative. That much is true. My junior high teachers used to say I was born with a pencil in my hand because of the time and energy I spent drawing and writing. Not much has changed when it comes to that although my subject matter has evolved, thankfully.

Today, as a woman in recovery since 2021, most of my projects, especially my writing, have centered around the world of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.

My mission is to spread awareness about addiction as a disease and everything that comes along with it, and maybe help a person or two in the process.

When I’m not working, painting, or writing I’m making weird sculptures of my cat, Tuna.
